The king of God's favor

2 Samuel 3:1-21
Abner angry over the words of Ish-bosheth for a woman.
There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. And David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul became weaker and weaker.
Saul had a concubine: A king's harem閨房 normally passed to his heir, which makes Abner's action tantamount無異 to a claim to the throne. Compare Absalom's action.
Why?
Ishbosheth is not the man his father was. Abner is the real power. If he transfers his support to David, he carries the nation with him.
David asked Abner and Ish-bosheth bring his wife Michal back, one is he thought that Michal is loving him, another reason is David hope Saul's daughter may lead him to be the king of whole Israel.
How?
The final king is the one God loved who is obey the word of the Lord
