I will not turn from being your shepherd

Jeremiah 17:1-27
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.
I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct.
The Lord asked Jeremiah stand at the Gate of the People, through which the kings of Judah go in and out; stand also at all the other gates of Jerusalem. Say to them keep Sabbath day holy.
This chapter contains a mixture of different material: a prophecy of judgment; a Wisdom psalm; a personal poetic prophecy-cum-lament; and an early prose prophecy which offers hope of escaping judgment.
Why?
There is different consequence for those who obey the word of God and turn away from the Lord.
Stand at the gate of the people, say God's word, stand at the cross point of the world culture, let people know the Lord. To be a christian is not stay in church but standout among people to show the love of the Lord and grace of the Lord.
How?
Lord, you are the hope of Israel and me; all who forsake you will be put to shame. I will not turn from being your shepherd.
