Lord is my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress

Jeremiah 16:1-21
Because I have withdrawn my blessing, my love and my pity from this people, declares the Lord. Both high and low will die in this land.
But you have behaved more wickedly than your ancestors. See how all of you are following the stubbornness of you evil hearts instead of obeying me.
However, the days are coming, declares the Lord, it will be said, 'As surely as the Lord live, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north.'
Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come.
God's instruction to Jeremiah is plain: 'do not marry'. By remaining single, in a society where this was almost unheard of. Jeremiah becomes a living symbol of God's message. Very soon there will be the most terrible famine and slaughter in Jerusalem.
This is no time, no place, to raise a family. As God removes his peace and his love from them the people will at last know him as the Almighty.
Yet God still has a future for them, and the prophet declares his confidence in God.
Why?
Wickedly people asked why God will do this, they did not know what is right and wrong, their heart full of wicked and obey the stubbornness.
God has his future plan on Israelites, God will teach them, let them know God is almighty.
God is my strength, my fortress and my refuge in time of distress.
How?
God is my strength when I am frustrated I turn to the Lord and trust in Him, I will gain faith to keep going on.
