Proverbs 24:23-34
To show partiality in judging is not good:
But it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and rich blessing will come on them.
An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.
I applied my heart to what I observed and learn a lesson from what I saw a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest - and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity(缺乏) like an armed man.
After 30 sayings comes a 'postscript'(後記) of additional saying focusing on justice and hard work, with a sketch of the lazy person in verse 30-34.
The Hebrew has several possible meanings, but it seems to imply a book of sayings which consists of 30 paragraphs or chapters.
Why?
God hate partiality like we speak honest with pure heart.
Everyone has sin against God, so it will be blessed to convict the guilty.
Work hard is needed since Adam had sinned, diligent to work and earn what we need in my life. Then the rich comes, poverty goes away.
How?
Word hard with joy and convict out guilty before the Lord! Don't show partiality in judging.
