But ( all in vain)

Hosea 8:1-14
Israel cries out to me,'O our God, we acknowledge you!' But Israel has rejected what is good; an enemy will pursue him.
They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no head; it will produce no flour.
I wrote for them the many things of my law, but they become altars for sinning.
They offer sacrifices given to me and they ear the meat, but the Lord is not pleased with them.
Although they have sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them together They will begin to waste away under the oppression of the mighty king.
Now he will remember their wickedness and punish their sins: They will return to Egypt --- to be salve of other country as they were in Egypt.
Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; Judah has fortified many towns. But I will send fire upon their cities that will consume their fortresses.
All of the sins of Israel God remembered, so the punishment came to Israelite.
Why?
Israelite did somethings by their own minds, but the Lord is not pleased with them, for their heart are away from the Lord and did evils.
There are many but and although to express the vain of what Israelite did.
Israelite have made gods, made up laws, set up kings to suit themselves: as if God and his laws did not exist. But neither idols nor allies will avail when the God they have forgotten strikes.
How?
Do the will of the Lord, don't make choice by our own mind or desire. my desire is love God and have favor in Him. Love the Lord with all my heart, all my soul and all my strength.
