Feeds on the wind; pursues the east wind all day

Hosea 12:1-14
Ephraim feeds on the wind; he pursues the east wind all day and multiplies lies and violence.
The Lord has a charge to bring against Judah; he will punish Jacob according to his ways and repay him according to his deeds.
But you must return to your God; maintain love and justice, and wait for your God always.
The merchant uses dishonest scales; he loves to defraud. Ephraim boasts, "I am very wealth they will not find in me any iniquity or sin"
The Lord used a prophet to bring Israel up from Egypt, by a prophet he cared for him. But Ephraim has bitterly provoked him of his bloodshed and will repay him for his contempt.
Why?
The Lord talked about Jacob a lessons from history to remind Ephraim.
Pursue the wind is purse the worthless issue or target.
This is not an easy chapter to follow. Israel needs to e reminded of scheming Jacob and how he learnt to lean on God, and to forget their proud independence and reliance on foreign powers.
The people deride the prophets of their own day. They need the reminder that it was through a prophet that God brought the nation into being.
Wealth does not mean he is elegant or no sin, rich man does not mean is evil man, the Lord judge among us.
Everyone have to repay his own deed at the day before God.
I have to wait for my God always, the time is belong to the Lord, He has the best timing to me.
How?
I am searing the next step, but I need to wait for my God, for He is the Lord. Maintain love and justice is my daily job. Am I pursuing the east wind, feeding on the useless target or little profit? Dear Lord, Forgive me!
