Don't be a easily deceived and senseless dove

Hosea 7:1-16
The Lord remembers all their evil deeds. But they do not realize. Their sins engulf them; they are always before me.
Ephraim are all adulterers like an oven whose fire the baker need not stir from the kneading of the dough till it rises. Their heart are like an oven they approach him with intrigue; they devour their rulers. All their kings fall and none of them calls on me.
Ephraim mixes with the nations; Ephraim is a flat cake not turned over. It is not well baked, half of it is raw and half of it burned out.
Ephraim is like a dove, easily deceived and senseless- calling to Egypt, turning to Assyria.
They do not cry out to me from their heart but wail upon their beds. I trained them and strengthened them, but they plot evil against me. They are like a faulty bow.
Destruction to them, because they have rebelled against me!
Why?
Kings fall at the hands of hot-heads and conspirators. Israel turns to foreign peoples, foreign powers, foreign gods: bur never to the Lord.
Hosea's language is vividly pictorial.圖示的
They baked their flat loaves on saucer-shaped 'hot-plates' placed upside down over the embers餘燼. The load must be turned over to cook both sides.
Dove is honesty but she is easily deceived and senseless either. Be wise to discern what it right. Be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.(matt 10:16)
How?
The Lord remember all our deeds, not one can hide from God. Everyone has to face the judgement at the last day. Repent and turn to the Lord is the best choice, the Lord is full of mercy and love, no matter who am I.
