Earnestly seek the Lord

Hosea 5:1-15
The judgement to Israelite!
The Lord said to priests, Israelite and royal house. Judgement is against you!
Their deeds do not permit them to return their God. A spirit of prostitution is in their heart; they do not acknowledge the Lord.
Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his sores, Ephraim turned to Assyria, But he is not able to cure you, not able to heal your sores.
The Lord will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah, tear them to pieces and go away.
The Lord will go back to his place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me.
Why?
A generation has grown up to whom God is a stranger. The alarm is sounded on Judah's boarders, for Judah shares the sin to which Israel has become addicted.
Not even the great king of Assyria can save them form God's judgement.
God's longing is their return and admit their guilt.  C.S. Lewis puts it as God's 'megaphone to rouse a deaf world'.
The Lord allow the people be an evil doer when they do not acknowledge the Lord. But the Lord let prophet announce his warning to this world, when they in misery they will earnestly seek God. The Lord like the love from your heart, not under enforcement.
How?
Who can stand up in God's wrath? None. Admit our guilt and turn to Him, when we seek him earnestly, we can find the truth.
Am I earnestly seek the Lord? I surrender to You O Lord.
