1 Samuel 30:1-17
David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep.
But David found strength in the Lord his God.
David inquired of the Lord, 'Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?
You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue." God answered.
David's return is well-timed, and the slave's information more than a stroke of luck. All is recovered.
Why?
God is David's strength, David knew when he is weak seek the Lord.
David knew God is his way so before attacking the Amalekites, he prayed to the Lord and asked the way go or not.
How?
David is our good example facing distress and weeping.
