Who can lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed and be guiltless.

1 Samuel 26:1-25
David hiding on the hill of Hakilah, So Saul went down to the Desert of Ziph, with his three thousand select Israelite troops, to search there for David.
David and Abishai went to the army by night, and there was Saul, lying asleep inside the camp with his spear stuck in the ground near his head.
David said to Abishi, “Don’t destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed and be guiltless?
Saul said, “I have sinned. Come back, David my son. Because you considered my life precious today, I will not try to harm you again, Surely I have acted like a fool and have been terribly wrong.
The pro-Saul Ziphites again lay information against David. And for a second time, Saul finds himself at David’s mercy and it shamed into repentance. No doubt Macbeth would have seen this as a heaven-sent opportunity for advancement! David knew that God did not need his help to put him on the throne. The Hebrew title of Psalm 54 connects it with this time.
Why?
David insists do not harm the anointed one, Saul. David spared Saul’s life once time.
When Saul realized David kinds to him, let Saul felt shame before David.
Respect God’s anointed one is respect the Lord and the work of God.
God gives us the way, we don’t help the Lord to put us on the way. God has his schedule and the way to give us.
How?
Always follow God’s way and do not intervene our mind and way to make it.
