David took up this lament concerning Saul and his son Jonathan

2 Samuel 1:17-27
David took up this lament concerning Saul and his son Jonathan and ordered that the men of Judah be taught this lament of the bow.
Saul and Jonathan   in life they were loved and admired,  and in death, they were not partedThey were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
David took Saul and Jonathan as a mighty one,
How the mighty have fallen in battle!
I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother. Your love for me was wonderful, more wonderful than that of women.
The lament for Saul and Jonathan is one of the most moving and beautiful of all David's poems. His regret for the king seems wholly sincere; his distress at the loss of Jonathan, deep and genuine.
Why?
David loves Jonathan than any others, David took Saul as king and mighty one.
David wrote this lament to let people know that he is real sorrow to there dead in the battle for Israel.
David my won other people's heart for the honors of King Saul.
David shows the real sorrow to Saul and Jonathan's fallen. David knew the heart of the Lord and David can make the whole Israelite become one nation.
David was really sad for Saul's death, for there are twice David did not kill Saul. It was a threatening situation.
How?
Show with the real heart and motion the dead men. Take the mind of the Lord to face our own enemy will be given God's grace.
