God was with king David

1 Chronicle 11:1-9
David made a compact with all the elders of Israel at Hebron before the Lord, and they anointed David king over Israel, as the Lord had promise through Samuel.
David capture the fortress of Zion, the City of David.
David became more and more powerful, because the Lord Almighty was with him.
The story of David's reign occupies the rest of 1 Chronicles. It is  selective history compared with 2 Samuel, missing out David's adultery with Bathsheba, the rape of Tamar and the family dissension which culminated in Absalon's rebellion. But if the Chronicler omits, he also adds to what we know, particularly the detailed plans and preparations for building the Temple.
Why?
God's word never missed, God's word is faithful forever.
David became king nd his kingdom became more and more powerful, because the Lord was with him. So the blessing of the Lord is most important to anyone.
How?
Walk on the way of the Lord, then God will be with us. So the blessing will be with us.
