1 Chronicle 19:1-19
Be strong and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.
David sent a delegation to express his sympathy to Hanun, son the of Nahash king of the Ammonites.
Samuel 10:18 has 700 chariots, a more likely figure. But the word chariot here can mean simply 'mountain men'. The foot-soldiers here are the 'horsemen' of Samuel, since at this time in the ancient Near East the cavalry dismounted to flight.
Why?
This war was occurred by the Ammonites and Arameans. David was passive to fight them.
Fight for the people and our God. Pray to the Lord with good altitude is please to the Lord. Trust in Him for He is the Lord Almighty!
The Lord is the sovereign God!
How?
Pray to the Lord and humble myself, the Lord will do what is good in his sight. Trust in Him.
