24000(63%) be the supervise the work of the temple of the Lord.
6000(16%) be officials and judges.
4000(10.5%) be gatekeepers
4000(10.5%) of it are to praise the Lord with the musical instruments.
The Chronicler makes no mention of the struggle over the succession recorded in 1 King 1. The focus right through these chapters is the Temple and the worship of God.
The next five chapter record David's organization of the nation's religious and civil administration.
V6-24 provides check-list of these who belong to the tribe of Levi and are therefore qualified to enter God's service.
Why?
Serve the Lord at Temple is main mission of Levi, David divided them as four groups, mainly to the work of the temple of the Lord, next is the official and judges, others are security and praise team.
How?
No matter what position I am doing is part of roles in God's house. The most important is how to honor the Lord.
