Romans 11:1-10
Did God reject his people? By no means! Such as God reserved for himself 7000 who have not bowed the knee to Baal.
It is by grace, it is no longer by works, if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did.
The other scriptures is written and David says: God gave them a spirit of stupor (麻木), eyes so that they could not see and ears so the they could not hear, to this very day. (Duet 29:4), (Psalm 69:22,23)
Has God rejected his people, then? No. Paul himself is a Jew, one of the few who are true to God, as in the days of the prophet Elijah.
Why?
God is mercy, so he give opportunity of the salvation to everyone in the world, it is grace to be chosen as his children.
Grace is more important than work for the Lord, what we serve to the Lord is what we should to his great grace.
How?
Grace is gift, if it was worked, it is not grace.
Thanks be to God, praise be the Lord. I was gentile but could be God's inheritance.
