Romans 6:1-14
Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
All of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death, Buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
If we have been unite with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.
Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. In the same way, we dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, but rather offer yourselves to God.
Since God has provided a way for sins to be forgiven, 'shall we persist in sin, so that there may be all the more grace?' What an absurd(荒唐) idea!
Christians are 'joined' to Christ, sharing his death and resurrection.
Baptism - going down into the water - signifies that the old life is dead and buried.
We were dead to God before; now we are alive to him. Sin's stranglehold is broken. We must live in the light of that new freedom.
Unite with Jesus Christ, it is the life and spiritual body, even now we have sin body, but we may live like Jesus through Holy Spirit and conquer the sin's body.
Why?
We dead in sin through Jesus Christ when we were baptized in Christ. We were dead and raised from dead like Jesus, so we should live to the God, free from sin.
Do not offer part of our body to sin, for all of my body is belong to the Lord. How can we let sin comes to me and let the body of Christ be shamed?
How?
Jesus is the Lord, we live through his resurrection. Do not offer any part of my body to sin.
