Romans 10:1-13
Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
Israelites is zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.
Anyone trust in him will never be put to shame. (Isaiah 28:16)
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law:"The man who does these things will live by them." (Lev. 18:5)
But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart."(Duet. 30:14) that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming.
Why?
Knowledge is on the truth of the Lord.
Christ is the end of the law, the end of law is love.
Zealous for God is good, but there is based on knowledge, in God's way, but does not on our own way.
Israelites thought their righteousness is by the law from Moses, but Paul described the word from Moses also in another way.
Paul himself once shared this misplaced zeal. Now he longs for the Jews to believe as he does that 'Christ is the end of the law'.
All who acknowledge Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead will find salvation.
How?
Jesus Christ comes for everyone who living in the dark, Everyone has the opportunity to be saved by acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord.
