Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith

 Romans 4:13-16

It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

Why?

Because the law brings wrath, and where there is no law there is no transgression. The promise comes by faith. No one can be righteous through the law, no one can obey the laws fully in the world.

The promise comes by faith, which is to believe what God's way is the best way to us, God's word is our strength, internal a man have to be humble and submit to Jesus Christ.

Not only believe in Jesus but his behavior is based on the loves of Christ. This is a very difficult target.

What we have to fight is our pride, our selfishness, our desire, and our narrow mind.

---------

How?

We are nothing without the Lord and Jesus Christ.
