Nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law

 Romans 3:27-31

Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

God has dealt with sin and shown himself true to his promises. The essence of the good news Paul was commissioned to preach, and the heart of the Christian message still, is that all who believe this are 'justified'- not by their own faith (that is only the channel by which pardon is received), but in the merciful kindness of God through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Why?

No one is boasting. So everyone has to humble, it is the grace of the Lord through our faith so we may be justified.

The law is a mirror to show us what is right, and we may do the right and realized the only faith in Jesus Christ can deliver us to the holiness.

是否割禮，只要有信就可以稱義

那一種人會誇口呢?即擁有律法的猶太人會誇口。我們自己常聚會敬拜的人，常會向不常聚會的人誇口。只要人，小孩完成一件事，我們就會誇讚他，小孩子有好成績，也會受誇。神看重的是人與神 關係，不要再靠自己，如父親在意孩子親近他，孝敬他。人看成果，神看關係。在於信，人的價值在於和神的關係如何?

我會的別人不會，就會誇口。如果有人有部重機，想出門炫耀，結果一出門都是重機，有什麼好炫耀的呢?人的想法是佔有，神的想法是分享。神已經先分享給人了，目的要人在全地彰顯神的榮耀。

割禮還有什麼用處呢?是否廢掉割禮，割禮是為了提醒人，信能夠使人守約，也更堅固了律法？神給人律法，要人守約，藉著信才能守約。

Faith is the essential point to be a Christian. Be humble and faithful before the Lord.
