In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose

 Romans 8:18-39

For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope for the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 

He is our foretaste of the glory to come - a living spring of hope within us. And he turns our inarticulate longings into prayer. It is God's intention that every one of us should be like Christ. Like him in character now; like him in glory eventually. God is recreating us 'in his own image'. And every little circumstance of life is worked into this great overall purpose. Nothing can shake it. No one can ever make God write us off - we have Christ in heaven to plead our cause. And no power in heaven or earth can cut us off from his love. So whatever life may bring, we can win through.

Why?

Frustration: empty, null

We can pray through the Spirit who is living in our hearts.

Who can against us? What can separate us from the love of Christ? No one, Nothing. For God has sacrificed his own son for us, God's love is beyond anything. We are under the protection of God's love and we are hoping in accordance with the will of God.

我們在受洗、得救後，聖靈的工作在第八章說明清楚。賜給人力量可以勝過軟弱，最終得著榮耀！

4.得盼望，勝過今日的苦難 5.得禱告的力量

如何賜給人力量，勝過今日的苦難?在於盼望！聖靈讓我們知道將來有盼望，得榮耀。

人還是有軟弱的，在忍耐的過程中，聖靈會賜力量。聖靈如何幫助我們，聖靈會為我們禱告。用說不出來的嘆息（無法表達的呻吟，聖靈在乎我的感受）。第二個方法，依照神的旨意為聖徒祈求，百分之百會成就。客觀的環境依然為人的益處所預備的。

四個誰能?抵擋、控告、定罪、隔絕我們呢?靠著主我們能夠得勝有餘。我們喜歡聖靈的工作，豈只是那些一般教會追求的膚淺表徵嗎？

Be strong, don't fear for God has given us the promise, and his grace has come upon us. We have the faith to face every day.
