Romans 10:14-21
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!
But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course, they did. And Isaiah boldly says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.”
And Isaiah boldly says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.”
But concerning Israel, he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
The messenger's task is to make sure that everyone hears the good news. And Israel has heard and understood - yet still refused to believe.
Why?
To those who did not hear the Good News, we have to send messengers to tell them the Jesus Christ is their saver.
But Israelites did not accept the good news so God will make them envious by those who are not a nation, and make them angry by a nation that has no understanding. God let people like to shame Israelites.
The Lord sent many servants to deliver this good news but there are many who did not accept this good news. So they have to bear their own responsibility and face the consequences.
All-day long God has held his hands to his people Israelites, God loves them, but many of them did not care about it.
How?
Let me be a messager to deliver the Good News to those who haven't heard, let more people turn to the Lord, and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord.
