Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves

 Romans 14:1-23

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.

Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.

So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. 

There are some matters of conscience over which Christians disagree. It is not helpful to argue over 'doubtful points'. Those who are strong in the faith may feel free to do things that would give others a bad conscience. That is would give others a bad conscience. That is no reason to despise them. Neither side should pass judgment on the other. All of us, Pauls says, are answerable, not to one another, but to Christ. It is better to limit our own freedom than exercise it at a fellow Christin's expense.

Why?

God gives us freedom but it is not because this freedom we can do what I like or judge others, for we have not right to judge others, and our conscience is important to face anything. 

Every one of us has to face the judgment of the Lord, love others, and show our kindness is to show the love of the Lord. 

Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. This is the conscience in our hearts and leading by the Holy Spirit. 

Eating, dressing or some entertainment are not important to our life, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit is our goal in life.

1.彼此接納：潔淨與不潔淨的接納。現在的，聖經如果沒有明文教導的，或是在特定情境下的表示是次要，可以因環境不同，有所調整，與處境有關，與靈命無關。街上賣的都可以吃，只要神所賜的都是潔淨了。我們得蒙喜悅，是因為信，不在乎我們做什麼?我們是否以聖靈為我們的喜樂。為主：守，吃，為主：不吃，不守，或活或死都是為了主的緣故。因此任何人不可來批評對方。

2.彼此和睦：在教會中有不同看法的人。原則是不要叫人跌倒、憂愁。重要是否為主的緣故，吃喝的事不重要。吃了心裏平安就有福了，是否為主的緣故，聖靈知道，若不是，聖靈會責備我們。神不是因為我們做了什麼，蒙神悅納，也不是因為我們不做什麼，不蒙神悅納。我們活著是為了主！
