Greet one another with a holy kiss

 Romans 16:1-16

I commend to you our sister Phoebe I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.

Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.

Greet my dear friend Epenetus, who was the first convert to Christ in the province of Asia.

Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you.

Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews who have been in prison with me.

Greet Ampliatus,  Urbanus,  Apelles, Herodion, Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, Greet my dear friend Persis, Greet Rufus, Greet Asyncritus, Greet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and all the Lord’s people who are with them.

Greet one another with a holy kiss.

It is in one way surprising to find such a long list of friends in a church that Paul had never visited. For this reason, some believe this chapter originally belonged to a copy of Romans which was sent to Ephesus. Yet all roads led to Rome, and many Christians from the eastern provinces must have passed through the capital at one time or another. It is obvious that despite his bus life Paul did not lose interest in people or lose touch with them.

Why?

There were so many helped Paul on the way of the missionary, these brothers and sisters are God's people they have the same mind and vision with Paul, so they worked hard and loved God, and encouraged Paul's heart in serving the Lord.

A missionary is a hero who can do it, but it is teamwork under the leader of Jesus Christ.

---------

How?

Appreciated everyone on my way to be a Christian, for many people's help and God's grace so I may turn to the Lord.
