Romans 9:25-33
I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people, and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,
Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.
What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal. Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone. As it is written: See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
People of other nations, knowing their failure, welcomed God's gift and achieved 'righteousness based on faith'. The Jews, pursuing righteousness on the basis of deeds, refused God's better way.
Why?
My people are the people of Isreal, who are God's chosen ones, but they did not receive Jesus Christ so they are not God's people. Others, not Jews become the sons of God for their belive.
Jews pursued the righteous deeds but they stumbled for they stumble on the rock, Jesus Christ. All of these are written in the Bible.
God is fair and full of love, the problem is people's pride and their narrow mind and sinner mind.

How?
Turn to the Lord and give thanks to God, for Jesus has raised up from the dead, so everyone follows and trusts in Jesus will be saved from the dead.
