This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe

 Romans 3:21-26

But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

Since God is just, and Jews and Gentiles alike are 'under the power of sin', how are things to be put right? The law cannot do it, so some new ways must be found. The good news is that God himself, through the death of his own Son, Jesus Christ, has provided the means of our forgiveness.

Why?

Through God's grace, received by faith, and through the shedding of Jesus Christ's blood. We all could be just. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

Human beings, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. No one can boast in what he has done. 

Just believe in Jesus Christ as my savior, my Lord! How easy and great grace, but for the sin of man, there are many people still away from Jesus Christ. This is the mission of all Christians God has given to us.

律法的功能在叫人知罪。

神並不嘗試以行律法來稱義。這是人員自己的想法，人想靠自己努力得稱讚，源於人的自傲。這個計劃在舊約中神就是已經顯明。不是神發現此路不通，才採用這條路。

人本來是神的榮耀，如今已經缺一角了。

就是「神的義」出現三次。藉著人的信顯明神的義：救恩的目的在於顯明神的義。顯明神是公義的，顯明神的屬性- 公義、聖潔、慈愛。神重新把祂的義、榮耀加給人。人原來所犯的罪，神寬容我們的罪，不是透過審判而是透過耶穌基督的血，平息神的怒氣。

神救我們為的是彰顯神的榮耀這是神本的救恩觀，透過我們顯出神的榮耀。使人得永生、平安、喜樂，這是人本主義的救恩。也許有人認為神很自私嗎？難道我們不自私嗎？神可以直接把犯罪的人滅掉，重新創造人。神設立挽回祭，神先放下自己，我們是否也可以先放下自己，把自己放託給神。如果我們得救希望能得到什麼，就虧欠神的義。
