Romans 4:17-25
He(Abraham) is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—The God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
So God's people are not those of Abraham's race who lay claim to the covenant promises as their birthright but those of any race who share Abraham's faith.
Why?
Credit righteousness is for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. God gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. God let Jesus as our penalty to change our life from the dead to life. From the sinner to the holy one is the grace of the Lord.
Abraham is the father of faith in many nations, so is the father of faith to me.
Sins have to pay sacrifice to erase, Jesus Chris be our sacrifice so believe in the Lord with the high price, but God's son Jesus Chris has pay for us.
How?
How great is the Lord, Praise God with joy, and witness Him in my life before others.
