Pray is the unseen weapon to keep us courage and stand up firm

Ephesians 6:10-24
Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Put on the full armor of God; stand firm
1) belt of truth buckled around your waist
2) breastplate of righteousness in place
3) feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace
4) take up the shield of faith
5) Take the helmet of salvation
6) sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.
7) Pray in the Spirit in all occasions with all kinds of prayers ad requests.
Paul asked they pray for him, that whenever he open his mouth, words may be given him so that he will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.
Why?
Paul does not pretend it will be easy to maintain these standards. There is a need for 'body-building'. The fight is on. We are against powerful forces in a spiritual struggle. We need spiritual weapons and these God provides.
Like Roman soldier, we have a belt and breastplate, shoes and shield, helmet and sword.
God fits us out with all the armor we need for defense and protection. With these we can make our stand against all-comers.
Most important of all, is the unseen weapon of prayer. The prayer of his readers can help Paul keep up his courage and speak up for God in that faraway prison.
Seven important spiritual weapons for the spiritual war in heaven realms.
How?
Build my body with God's words and gifts. I need more prayer for the unseen spiritual environment. Let me fearlessly preach gospel of peace and make known the mystery of the gospel.
