Set mind to gain understanding and humble before God

Daniel 10:1-15
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a revelation was given to Daniel. Its message was true and it concerned a great war. The understanding of the message came to him in a vision.
Daniel saw the Glory God, others around him did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves.
When Daniel saw it and listen to the angel talk to him, he was no strength left, face turned deathly pale and helpless.
There was a war between the Michael, one of the chief princes, and the king of Persia.
Daniel set his mind to gain understanding and to humble himself before God, so the Lord and his angels came to him. Chief of princes explain it to Daniel.
God told Daniel the first word ' Do not be afraid, Daniel' and called his name.
Why?
After a long fast, Daniel receives an awe-inspiring vision of a glorious figure: very like John's vision of Christ in Revelation He is given insight into the continual battle raging in the spiritual realm between those protecting God's people and those bent on their destruction.
Michael is the special guardian angel of the Jewish.
The 'princes' in this chapter are patron angels of the various nations.
How?
Set his mind to gain understanding and to humble himself before God, the Lord reveal the vision to Daniel, so if I have these mind and heart to the Lord.
