Daniel 12:1-13
At the time, there will be a time of distress such as has not happened fro the beginning of nations until then. But at that time everyone whose name is found written in the book will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
Close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will o here and there to increase knowledge.
The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, saying "It will be for a time, times and half a time, all these things will e completed.
Daniel did not understand it and asked He, He said "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed util the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. You will rise to receive your allotted inheritance"
Why?
Daniel is the first Old Testament book to speak explicitly of the resurrection of individual people.
When that day come, and all the terrible troubles are past, those who have shown themselves wise by their faithful obedience to God will rise to shine like stars for ever. All evil will be done away. But even Daniel approach to these matters may still be the wisest course!
Wise men are those who know the Lord and ready themselves waiting for His coming.
The end of times is a mystery of the Lord, we don't know it, even Daniel could not understand it. We go our way, obey the commands of the Lord.
Time and Times and half a time are same times described in Revelation.
Blessed is the one who waits for the Lord.
How?
The time is controlled by the Lord, we do our way, do our best in our life to honor the name of the Lord. At the end times, will get the honor and everlasting life. For me, I have to wait for the sign of God a while, for my next destination.
